It's a new school year so I started teaching ballet a new bunch of kids in a school in Laguna. I had to take some time explaining the exercises. I had to show how to point and flex their toes. I had to show them how to "pick a flower" (roses? or perhaps Peruvian Lilies) . I even have to explain the proper way to lift arms in terms of a ballet "alphabet". I know it sounds kiddie, but it truly is fulfilling. It's a delight to know that I am making an impact to the next generation.
