The whole family went to Lake Caliraya today to reforest the area's watershed. This man made body of water is home to ~600MW of hydro-electric power and numerous lakeside resorts. One can go boating,do water sports and fishing in the lake itself. Each resort also has its own swimming pool and first class amenities. The lake has some areas suitable for horseback riding ( though I haven't seen a single horse ). Imagine oneself comfortably seated on english saddles and mounted on arabian black beauties by this picturesque lake. Lake Caliraya would take about 3 hours from Manila.
