Our Car Gets Hit!!!

Our Chevy Optra Wagon was hit recently while it was parked in front of our house. Two doors were scratched and dented with white paint adhering on our black. No one saw the incident and no one had to guts to take responsibility for it! Who knows which among the many village carports shelters the guilty one? It is amazing that a person, at least 18 years of age, can run away and hide like a child.

With the perpetuator in hiding, DH had no choice but to claim "own damage" insurance. It took quite a while for him to get in touch with our insurance company as the phone lines are always busy. Finally, he gets the car appraised after a week. The insurance company, gives us the letter of autorization for repair. The authorization was not just for some hole in the wall but at Chevrolet service. Thank God!!! We're bringing in the car on Wed. Hope everything goes well.
