In last couple of days, my son and I have been working on GED practice tests. The plan is for us to short cut our homeschooling by getting him to take an ACE or SAT test and secure admission to online college. This way he can work through his degree without sacrificing the quality of life he desires. He can also work on becoming a Premier Danseur, a rocket scientist or have one of those Telecomm Specialist jobs as long as he doesn't sacrifice the things that count most to him as he prepares for his career.

Online programs have little or no cost for instructional facilities, transportation and related staff. The value of distance education also increases when considering the broad range of available online courses.
