My dad's recent demise, brought us all back to my native Davao. Like any wake, one has to entertain with sympathizers whilst dealing with one's own grief. In the process, all you ever do is talk, eat, sleep. Going back to work a week later made me realize how sluggish and heavy I had become as a result of my going home.
