Death of a laptop

I think it finally died. The HP-Compaq refurbished second hand laptop of DH has died for the second time. We bought it a couple of years ago from a surplus shop that sells second hand equipment among other stuff. It was dirt cheap when we first got it but after a few weeks (or was it a month?) dh had to replace the HD. UGH! Since it was second hand they could only give us about a month on laptop warranty. It died on us again after that initial failure and yesterday I think it entered the grave already. I don't know if we'll have it repaired. Thank God we have another desktop that we resurrected a few days ago. I think that will do for now.
