Management Information

One of the benefits of being part of a start-up company is learning what other departments do and how they operate. Being part of the accounting department during my accounting days, I had the opportunity to work with the guys from the MIS department (Management Information System dep't.). In truth, if I could rewind time, I would choose Systems Analysis over Accounting. I could spend the whole day in the data center services department instead of trying to reconcile accounts and trying to balance worksheets. But it's still win-win anyway. I learned a lot and I'm applying both to what I'm doing right now.
