For the last few years, I've always preferred tea over coffee. I would always shun the bean drink making no distinction between black and mild. It gave me a sense of nausea whenever the scent got to me.
I first noticed this condition when I travelled to Costa Rica in 2000. I guess all the smelling I did to choose coffee gift packs must have left a bit of trauma to my olfactories. It was quite amusing when I was forced to drink a cup of coffee last month during my aunt's wake. I was amazed that I didn't vomit like I thought I would. I learned that day that I can still take coffee but I guess I'm so used to life without it. So, its back to the tea leaf for me.
