Modern Ballet Class

Today, I took a modern ballet class with Teacher Jun Saagundo. Wow! It was a blast. The class started with the warm up of plies, tendus, stretches and battements. Combinations of rond de jambes and bits of Jun's choreography were also given. The class put demands on gluts and the upper body complementing any classical training. This makes modern ballet a great fat burner for men. My favorite part of the class was a combination that required us to do a floor jete. I was pleasantly surprised I was able to do it. Its really all about managing the momentum of your movement.
