Fit for life

(note: This is a bit late, but  better late than never. :) )

Coffee break ver. 15 - How committed are you to health and fitness?

Actually, hubby and I used to be, many pounds ago. Prior to getting married, we were both into dancing and even did a lot of those fitness programs (eg. fit for life) and we did try to eat healthy. We still do practice it a bit when it comes to shopping for groceries. In fact, when our kids were younger they rarely, if not never, had sweets and up to this day, they have absolutely ZERO Coke, nada. Snacks consist mostly of fruits, although they do have cookies and biscuits regularly. But if budget permits, it would be mostly fruits and natural juices.

Right now it's only hubby who gets to exercise regularly (mainly because he is on a see food diet LOL) so he needs to burn those calories. He gets to swim and does laps in the village pool. Unfortunately, I, on the other hand have backslid. I did buy one of those Pilates DVD's that had a freebie exercise ring but I rarely use it. I also considered getting an exercise equipment like a treadmill or becoming a member one of those fitness salons but I don't know if it would be doable for me. Honestly, I just want to go back to dancing because that is where my passion is. Exercising on your own is really not much fun. It's more effective when you are with a group. Hopefully, when the kids are a little older and the budget permits, maybe hubby and I could take flamenco lessons together. Sana ano, wish ko lang... ;)
