I am loving it so far! I haven't had any sleep because I just couldn't. I've been sniffling the whole night and it's not because of the ceiling fans. It's just colder these days especially here in our place and I've even resorted to wearing socks. Since I couldn't sleep I decided to check my mail and I got this notice from Google about Chrome for Mac was now available. So I downloaded it and it's sooo cool. Of course it's still in beta but who cares! I'm already lovin' this beta. LOL I'll be exploring it a bit more so... catch ya later peeps!

Call Centers
Posted on 2:56 AM by Tes Tirol
I was talking to a friend I saw recently at a wake and we chatted for a little while and just did some catch up into each other's lives. I learned that she was no longer teaching in Kumon and that she and her sister had ventured into call center services. I was just so amazed at how gutsy they were to start something like that from scratch. I know there are a lot of opportunities out there that are waiting for them and I hope they do well in their business venture. Hopefully, next time I see her, she'll tell me all about her adventures into entrepreneurship.

New Look...New Post!
Posted on 1:53 AM by Tes Tirol
I did it! I updated this blog (and a couple of others) and I'm quite happy with it. I really like this template because it's clean and straightforward and yet a bit edgy because of the typographic touch on the header. (template credits are at the footer, in case you are interested). This was my old template :
Pretty neat, huh? I'm also loving the new interface of blogger and the sleek look of the posting buttons (reminiscent of wordpress?). Even the link button has improved. Cool! So should I do a diet pills review or some other post to start off or just enjoy looking at this blog's first post with the new look? I think I'll do the latter and see how this first post looks like. hahaha More to come, folks!

MP3 Players
Posted on 11:49 PM by Tes Tirol

The hubby taught ballet without music again. It's not the first time that he has had to do that because sometimes the guys in charge of the CD player don't come to the office and so he can't use it when he needs it. I suggested to him that maybe he could probably use an ipod or any of those cheap Mp3 players and hook it up to a computer speaker so he doesn't end up with no music at all especially when the kids are already there. I think that's a great alternative because it's not too bulky and he doesn't have to bring too many cds with him all the time. I'm going to do a little research on that a little later to find out more about that. I think I like this one because it's pink!

New Blog Contributor
Posted on 2:56 AM by Rean Tirol
At last, I have now been formally invited to be a contributor to this blog. Considering that my better half has been swamped with TDS and other graphics projects, this development is very much welcomed. While she has been doing her stuff, I have been working separately in the bedroom trying to upload stuff for my project group. ARGHH! First I had to struggle to look for a storage host that will accept .exe files. Then I had to work with upload speed. For Tes its even worse as she uploads bigger files than I do. While I uploaded my stuff in a few minutes, she typically uploads files in hours. Haven't used cisco but I think we need serious upgrades in hardware as well as in our ISP service. As we get more and more of our livelihoods into cyberspace, our demand for technology definitely increases. I guess this is a typical day in our "Jetsons" kind of life.
