My Costume Design Venture.

I tried something new today! I designed a costume for one of my ballet students. I was quite surprised that I could render a costume concept because I always thought that I could not draw. Even though I drew this for a 5 year old, my drawing was that of a grown lady who has tried diets that work. The concept was simple. I took inspiration from the Bukidnon-inspired national costume of Charlene Gonzalez years back when the Miss Universe pageant was held in Manila. I then combined this with Bagobo and Mansaka costume elements. I made gold and purple the dominant colors. I'm quite excited with the outcome of this costume. Looking forward to seeing the finish product.
